Masq update

Had my first appointment at the pain clinic this AM. They have ordered a whole slew of interventions for my poor, beleaguered bod. Not going to get into details, because I don't want to invite the casual horror stories some people feel inclined to share when they read about other people's impending procedures. I am nervous enough as it is.

I did NOT get my new recliner delivered while on vacation, which I am disgruntled about. I had two weeks off to accept a delivery at their convenience, now, not so much. I'll work it out. My stay-cation was very awkward without a good chair to sit in. I got some novel writing done, which is great, but it was not very comfortable.

Now, I am back on the job. Yay?

My mom's doctor sent her to a pain clinic for her cracked vertebra, and they were able to help her out, so hopefully yours will do the same.

Yikes! Sounds pretty awful compared to my situation. Nevertheless, things are ouchy and it's interfering with work and leisure, so off to the clinic I go....

Mine cost a pretty penny, but it was time to take that hit.

The store is a chain called Relax the Back.

Part of the reason the chair is taking so long (besides holiday delays) is it's home factory is in Pennsylvania, so I know they have locations back east.

Thanks for the reassurance.

Glad you're getting some help with your pain issues, and hopefully it will lead to treatments that vastly improve your quality of life. Chronic pain sucks.
Good luck!

It's amazing how things can change so quickly in your lifestyle under those circumstances. Hoping to get things back to something that resembles normal soonish!
