Angels and demons

Not so sure about Constantine. Not big on TV shows too closely based around the Judeo-Christian mythos. Hence my giving up on Sleepy Hollow. They're just a little too close for comfort. And anyway, any show where an innocent girl can be "damned" to hell "for all eternity" because of someone else's actions isn't my universe.

ETA: The 100, otoh, has managed to reinvent itself, and so gets a reprieve.

I was disappointed by Constantine. Kinda boring, and the actor/character doesn't come across as that bright. I kept thinking it was just a Cas SPN redo. I know it's not, but still. Meh.

I only watch Sleepy Hollow for the times Crane runs head first into the 21st century. Cracks me up.

I'm still liking The 100.

Yeah, I'm not a Supernatural fan, but I heard of the route it ended up going. So not my thing.

On SH, I liked the Mills sisters, but the weird combo of US Revolutionary War crack+Book of Revelations stuff annoys me.

The Lord of the Flies routine on The 100 was annoying me, too, but they seemed to have backed off on that somewhat with the arrival of the Grownups, and this new underground "civilization."

The 100 is going well. The lead character is a real strength of the show - smart, purposeful, but not inhumanly so.

I found it on Netflix just now. Yay!! I wasn't sure about it when I first watched it, but I was hooked by the end of the first episode. Looking forward to this season.

I am iffy on Clarke. On the one hand, I want to like a strong young female character like her, but she's made so many PTSD decisions, and doesn't seem to know how to back away from that. It's a little overwrought for me.

I read the comic book some back in the day and so was interested to watch. It was overall disappointing, though. they were trying to be too many things (supernatural, AHS, whedon) and they never really got a handle on the character. of course, i never really got a handle on the character either, so maybe i shouldn't gripe about it.

At first I thought, "OMG, Buffy redux" with the British Guy mentoring a scrappy young girl. Not sure how much the girl will be involved with the show vs. an occasional character? Didn't really warm up to the lead, though. Biggest problem was mostly with the rules/mythos.
