Okay, I've signed up for Camp NaNoWriMo with a 10,000 word goal. That's 333.33 words a day. Seems doable. This is to kick-in-the-pants the second draft of my novel, so of course it comes with Totally Cheating: I can use words from the first draft. Which isn't as Totally Cheating as it sounds. The second draft will be cherry-picking through the first, throwing stuff out, adding new stuff in, and making some tough decisions about what stays and what goes.

And now I'm off to look for Deep Woods bug spray.

I think my first draft was three books in bits and pieces, rather than one book as a whole. So now I need to turn it into three wholes. But, for now, I'm just working on the first hole. Er, whole.

Wow, that'll be work. I can see how daunting that would be. Luckily you are very logical and can see big pictures, whole arcs.

Well, it was always my intention to make this a series. That was kind of the point of it. Something to keep me writing for oh, say, the next decade.
