...Bringer of pleasant double-digit highs, overcast skies, fresh television, and writing coaches that can actually spare time for you now that their kids are in school.

Now if I can just get this pesky work thing under control. And, you know, this bout of insomnia. But those are only coincidentally part of September.

Yay, Fall!

Sirius and I are really enjoying having open windows in the morning!

Ah, yes, and as soon as my brother heads back to Iowa and stops running the AC at 74 degrees day and *night*, I will enjoy the same.

My insomnia is strictly early-morning (wake up too early, regardless of bed time). My bedroom has been a "sensory deprivation chamber" for over a decade--no sources of light, including those from electronics. Not really the eat-late or drink-late type to begin with.

I drop off almost immediately upon going to bed, so I don't really do anything in bed besides sleep, and if the temperature is too low, I get the sniffles and wake up due to not being able to breath.

I'm so not a summer person. Never have been, even when I lived in places summer was actually pleasant.

Good luck with the insomnia. I am currently loving an herbal product called Sound Sleep.

And thought about your mood icons when I saw this.

He's a really talented, expressive guy, but I preferred Connor to Pete.

Ooh, I already take over 500 mg of Valerian a day, and Kava periodically as needed for anxiety.

LOL on that Mad Men thing. I can't watch the show for several reasons, but one of them is seeing VK with that awful hair!
