Spring is in the air, and that's the time of year a young slightly older woman's fancy grows restless, and turns to things that...don't involve sitting in armchairs so much. Still, I managed to bring the "big-picturing" to an end this week and returned to what I'd written so far to fudge it a bit to match the new story trajectory I'm imaging. I'm still nudging, because, as mentioned, I don't spend as much time in writing pursuits these days.

I think once that's done and the story is moving forward again, I'm going to turn its care and feeding over to some more right-brained, free-form writing exercises, to get back in a creative flow. 'Cause right now, the creativity isn't flowing. Right now, I find myself drawn to things like home improvement where the tasks are straightforward.

And I'm not sitting in my chair.

i'm not good at allowing myself time to just NOT write and do a few other things but it's good for us.

Right now, it's a matter of motivation. I was all about the writing last winter, now, I'm having trouble getting down to it.

Actually, it is a comfort. But it happens from time to time. The muses are fickle.

well good then. They are fickle indeed. Also I need to curb my intenet addiction...just saying.
