Here's a plan

Get a hot tub/jacuzzi and use it as a tax deduction because it is a therapeutic measure for my knees.

Though I guess you have to be careful to make the water temp less than the average summer day temp in Phoenix...So then would it be a cool tub? :)

Here's a tip: when you hot-tub in Phx in the summer, you hot-tub at 6 am.

that would probably help...still working on how HOT it would be to have a hot tub in AZ. my friend in FL bought one for the same reason you have but ended up a tad too uncomfortable using i t. then agian its so humid there

The best times to use hot-tubs here are any time in the late Fall, Winter, and Spring, or early morning in the summer.

yeah. My favorite time to use my uncle's is in the dead of winter. Heat up, get out roll around in the snow, get back in

Cheryl had an in-ground jacuzzi when she bought her place, never used it and I think has had it filled in. I'm afraid I'd be the same.

I think I'd agree with the cool-tub idea. Or a tax deduction for cool ideas!

I also have friends in the area who love them.

Let me know if that works! I can think of a few things I could list as therapeutic.

I need to get a note from my doctor saying it's therapeutic in case I'm audited.

I wonder if he would....
